This is my second time in Thailand this year. This trip had served me well because I am experimenting with lighting or lack of lighting in my photography. Check out this image below, this our friends' living room in Hua Hin (Denis & Peter). Ron (Ron's Blog: HERE), Dan (Dan's Website: HERE) and I stayed there for the first week in Thailand. Denis and Peter's 2 stories home is beautiful with a lush courtyard, outside shower, a coconut tree in their front yard, parking and POM (their housekeeper/friend). Thank you guys for sharing your home with us again.
Here are some more photos of my friends in Thailand. The last photo is a new friend I met there. His name is Erik and he is from Romania. (Erik's Blog: HERE.) I wasn't able to take photos of everyone but eventually I will.
But of course, there is a beautiful vineyard in Thailand that makes tasty wine. Who Knew?!?!?!?! It's in the same city as our friends' home in Hua Hin. (Monsoon's Website: Here.)
We met these beautiful children through our dear friend Joey in Hua Hin. He has a beautiful farm in the country side and has an area for an after school program on his large property. My heart grew heavy with joy when I saw how wonderful these children were playing with pure happiness. Thank you so much Joey for sharing this gift with me. And yes, he has a Tuk Tuk in front of his house. How cool is that!
After a blissful week in the Hua Hin, where the King keeps his summer Palace and the train station keeps a grand portrait of the King. We head towards Bangkok.
We settled in Bangkok quite nicely. I love the hustle and bustle of the city: night markets, food stands, flower stands, temples, monks, tourists, shopping, eating, long tail boats, blessing trees, river homes, BTS (sky train), MRT (subway), hotels and the list goes on and on. And I love every minute of it.
Lastly, I want to say thank you to everyone that made this adventure so special: Ron Lussier, Dan Greening, Denis Brown-Bouvier, Peter Bouvier, POM, Joey (Baroq Coco), Cattaya Maew, Som-Gab Kambudda, Charin Sangsuwan, Bia Sutthiyok, Erik-Cristian Seulean, BCC Thailand, Barry Phanthomhive, Kitty Saichau, Supachhai Petchpracham, Thammarat Kongtongsmut and Lek Pongsintanakun.
